All of our off-highway stuff is either old 3306 CATs or M11/ISM in the loaders so I didn't realize that. Looks like it is proprietary to CAT for the off highway diagnostic software and adapters. I made my own adapters for hooking straight to the ECM of all of the engines since most are on stands in rows.Įdit: Chit it says on highway only for the CAT software compatibility. Most equipment and trucks I have seen all have a Deutsch data link port somewhere in the cab or near the engine. They come with the Deutsch data link connectors but sell a ton of other connectors to adapt to other applications. One more question with the Nexiq is it compatable with heavy eq or truck only? I looked at JPro but don't like the interface and prolink thru snapon is higher than giraffe pu**y if you get the OE softwares. Got a link to the Nexiq? That may be an option.
